(Update: after publication, the student informed me that she is moving the deadline up to Dec 1)
The link is a survey for a student’s GEO 351 Research Methods for Tourism Studies course at California University of Pennsylvania. It is only 17 questions, and none but age group are at all indicative of the participant’s identity.
Most of the questions ask about the noise, emergency services, jobs, taxes, and traffic directly caused by Hershey Park. As all long-time and active residents know, the opinions vary widely on these questions, depending on whom is asked. For this study to be most accurate, a wide demographic must respond. Please do so.
It must be completed by December 1, 2014 (see update), by “residents of Hershey, PA.” This includes Derry Township, Hummelstown, Palmyra, and South Hanover. The intent is anyone who deals with the noise, jobs, emergency services, and traffic directly caused by Hershey Park.
In order to ensure an accurate balance of representation from our community, instead of results skewed to those vested in, or employed by Hershey Park, please fill this out and share as widely as you can among the Hershey community.
Again: it must be completed by December 1, 2014 (see update).
